1. Wisdom is found at the cross (verse 20)
2. Wisdom begins in surrender and submission
3. Humble yourselves before the cross
1 Corinthians 1:20 Stumbling block - means scandal, offense
Because the cross is a scandal, it goes against everything the world stands for
Verse 27 "But God chose what is foolish in he world to shame the wise" - you are where you are right now not because of your own human endeavors but only because the salvation of Christ. Our calling is because of our weaknesses, not because of our talents
2 Corinthians 12:9 my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness
