Greater ambition

This week in BSF I learnt that we should all strive to have greater ambitions - not just when we are living, but also when we die. We should strive for a life and death that would be a testimony to who God is and His love for us. How can I do this? What greater ambitions could I have? I need to keep in mind that nothing is too great for my God.

Complete reversals that might be possible if I get the situation to God:
School - being able to understand completely and be on top of everything
Capital Kids - always having enough volunteers to run the whole thing
Relationships - that people might see from my actions that I am God's daughter and aim to please Him

Would expecting these reversals to occur be considered as having greater ambitions? Or is this wistful thinking? Or is my thinking that it is wistful thinking a sign that I am not being ambitious enough?

God please show me the answer.
